POSITION: Mobile Sales Clerk/NF-2091-01 SALARY: $15.00/ PH
EMPLOYMENT CATEGORY: Flexible (May be scheduled to work up to 40 hours weekly, May be required to work weekends, holidays, and evenings. No Group Benefits Included)
AREA OF CONSIDERATION: Applications will be accepted from the local commuting area only.
DUTIES: Operates a drink cart on the course to sell drinks and food snack items to golfers. Items normally consist of cold beer and soft drinks, chips, crackers, candy, and related foodstuffs. Ensures that standard prices are applied and that a clearly visible price list is available to customers. Stocks cart daily, assures that adequate stock levels are on hand to meet anticipated daily demands, collects money, and makes change. Maintains a change fund, counts daily receipts, maintains merchandise stock records, and prepares daily reports. Observes and complies with sanitation and security regulations and procedures and performs routine cleaning necessary for the sanitary operation of the unit. Performs related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate preferred. Basic knowledge of sales procedures and cash handling practices. Must have knowledge of inventory accountability. Must have demonstrated experience in communication skills and customer relations. Must have the ability to work independently. Must have a pleasing personality and be very diplomatic in customer relations. Must be neat in appearance. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions. Must have a valid drivers license.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Constant standing, stooping, bending, walking, lifting objects weighing up to 30 pounds. Work is primarily performed outside in various weather conditions, and the incumbent may be required to work irregular hours.
NOTE: As a condition of employment, selectee(s) will be required to participate in the Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer within the first 60 days of employment. This is the DOD standard method of payment of personnel. Employees will be subject to administrative action for failure to enroll unless a waiver has been obtained. Must meet requirements for local & national background check investigations (NACI). Drug testing is a requirement for positions deemed a Test Designated Position (TDP).
